The Stalker has a great understanding and takes a lot of inspiration from 80’s Slasher films, and notably stands out for its great acting and cinematic shooting. However what the film lacks is a cohesive glue that binds the movie together. Watching the film it felt like the writing was rushed and not well thought out, but makes up for it with some pretty amazing actors. I think that a reproduction of this film with a better outline and clear objective would raise the rating I would give it to a seven, and the film shows its potential well. Kudos to the team for taking a (I’m assuming) minimal budget and producing a pretty decent film. I watch a lot of indie movies and most of them feel very typical, I never got that with the stalker the film is extremely well filmed, written, acted, edited, composed. The over all quality is exceptionally well especially from the indie market. I was very entertained and had fun with it (which is what’s most important) something You don’t get from many indie movies. The actors were brilliantly cast!
