The Hip Hop Nutcracker (2022)

It’s a hip hop reimagining of the Nutcracker. A number of Tchaikosvky’s music remixed in a hip hop way. The video is a troupe of hip hop dancers doing their thang. And they do it well.The story is driven by stylized text on the screen and the MC.The experience is about 40 minutes long and works for the preteen and younger crowd and anyone who likes this type of dance. None of the moves are all that advanced, the choreography is well done and production is very Disney.There are some minor “intense” scenes as the Rat King makes his “attack”. But it’s a dance fight, yo!3.4/10 seems a bit harsh to me, which is where the rating currently stands.
