Spies in Disguise (2019)

Blue Sky studios have always never been that good to me. This movie is fun to watch online or even more so to free download. Spies in Disguise is actually a pretty good film especially considering the animated films we have had this year.

Spies in Disguise is a blast of fun. I thoroughly enjoyed this film. It may have its extremely bland plot about someone who has to prove his innocence and whilst on the run but with a unique twist and some good humor, it is a lot more tolerable. The animation is really great times. It’s really visually pleasing. Both Tom Holland and Will Smith are great voice actors who really suit their roles very well. It’s pretty standard for a kids film, it isn’t anything outstanding but it is a fun mindless film with some moments. There are a few moments which don’t exactly work but other than that, it’s worth watching.

Overall it’s a pretty good film. It has great animation and voice work. The story is somewhat fresh despite having a generic story at its core but as far as animation films go, it’s not half bad.

Even the voice of the Fresh Prince is charming enough to make a good movie great. Will is the man as a man turned into a bird. Tom Holland was pretty amazing too. For those of you who love his run as Spider-Man, there is enough of that inside this character to have you loving it. Also shout out to Ben Mendelssohn as the villain robot hand.  

Perfect for a 007 inspired feature. Also, very cool hearing DJ Khalid’s voice coming out of a character called sound. Then the most important part, the animation itself which was quite amazing. They did some things that really captured my eye and fully helped pushed a great story. Overall, It’s fantastic.
