Hollywood doesn't read the Bible and it's never more obvious than in this butchering of the recounting of the Flood. The story of Noah is grossly misrepresented here and it's sad that not only could they not tell the story of Noah but used such great actors and wasted them on this project. Great special effects and very little substance of fact as told in the good book. If you're gonna tell a Bible tale can't you at least tell the tale as it is written in the Bible. This borders on sacrilege.

Non bisogna scoraggiarsi di fronte a mostri giganti fatti di roccia riprodotti in una storia biblica, Noah è un film che si spinge molto più in profondità, e colpisce lo spettatore proprio per la delicatezza dei temi trattati. La storia di Noè è solo un pretesto che Aronofsky usa per dare un messaggio allo spettatore, in una sua rivisitazione della religione e dell'essere umano in generale. La sua passione per la religione si fa di nuovo sentire, ma questa volta le viene dato un tocco molto personale con dei risvolti psicologici non banali. E' proprio nella seconda parte del film che vediamo il meglio della narrazione, con un ritratto intenso, crudo e strettamente psicologico del personaggio di Noè, in una situazione che lo pone di fronte a scelte di un'enorme importanza. Abbiamo dei dialoghi molto profondi e mai scontati, con personaggi pragmatici e concreti, ognuno con i propri problemi che li rendono ancora più umani. Non sarà forse il migliore della sua filmografia, ma Noah rimane un film che sicuramente ha molte cose da dire.

I can't wait to see this!!! I just hope they get it right! I don't wan to see mans interpretation of this historical fact, I want it to be true to the good book. People have forgotten about how powerful God is.... Update. I never went to see it. After hearing about all the retarded additions of rock creatures and other rabbit trails I decided not to support this satanic crap.
