Zach and Ben are two nerdy childhood best friends with a dream to go to Comic Con. When Ben is forced to move with his dad to Antarctica, the two make a vow that when Ben comes back they will finish writing their own comic book and get it into the hands of their hero, Marvel creator Stan Lee. Yet, plans change when after five years of total isolation and extreme puberty, Ben returns as the same geek now trapped inside the body of an Abercrombie model. Saw it. Enjoyed it. I'm not qualified to 'review' movies. But I do, however, know what I need to sit through something unfamiliar stories about a time and circumstance that had nothing to do with me. And this delivered that. It is wonderfully tied together well both direction and script-wise. It's an intelligent film for an intelligent audience. I liked this from start to finish. The pace is fast enough to keep Americans interested and slow enough to fascinate those who enjoy the details. The primary actor wore his character as if born to it. Marwan as Marwan was ideal. The entire cast was exceptional. The details were extraordinary. Recommended.

I have been waiting for this movie since I saw the trailer 3 weeks ago, and i watched it today on the first day it featured on Netflix. The story is more of fictios than realistic, the casting is very poor and the Egyptian Arabic accent was never even close to anything real. The actors were selected inappropriately, most likely from second generation Arab immigrants from Syria and North Africa who probably lost their native accent. Let alone the facts that sadat was black, Nasser was fat and tall. The only one who was properly portrayed was samy sharaf. The overall evaluation is mediocre and the story is not interesting and the plot is not sound. The bottom line is: this movie is more or less a student project at a film school nothing more and nothing special. Bummer big time!

The film was at best an OK attempt for a live action adaptation of Bleach manga/anime. There were a lot of miscasting,in my own opinion, for the characters but some of the other choices for some of the characters were OK.The visual effect were good, Story transition was also good and as for story line wise, it could have been better given the existing source material .If you have been an long time fan of the manga/anime you would expect something more, so with this adaption it is BEST to keep an open mind and heart to the short comings of the adaption.This film will give new fans an idea of what Bleach is all about and maybe push their curiosity to discover more about the franchise , while leaving loyal fans questioning this and that and why and how.
