My friend and I watched this movie when it premiered in Burbank Festival. My heart kept racing with every scene of the movie until the end. It scared me out! After watching the movie, we ran to our car so fast as afraid of someone followed us!!! and discussed about some creepy parts of the movie on our way home. Overall, this is awesome movie! I don’t normally like scary movies but I gave this one a chance and I absolutely loved it!!! It made me jump, cover my eyes, smile endearingly, laugh at times, and left me wanting more at the end of it. The main lead paid such a good homage to how you would expect content hungry YouTubers to be like. Your emotions and feelings towards him throughout the entire movie mirrored exactly how his co stars also felt about him perfectly. Honestly I was so sucked in and invested that I’m hoping for a sequel!! Found footage is my guilty pleasure, so I sought this movie out and I have to say I was really impressed, its all the more eerie that the story is set in an actual LA hotel that was the sight of murders, disappearances and a famous viral video of a woman on the elevator acting crazy then ending up murdered. The story is shrouded in a great build of mystery and leaves you wanting to know where the plot is going and the end revelations are fascinating!
