Let’s start at the beginning. Two victims are slashed up right at the beginning. Pretty promising for a good slasher movie, am I wrong? Well, stick around, because the next body count doesn’t show up for at least a half hour into the film. And does it even count when it’s a gunshot wound to the foot, and winds up being an off screen kill? From there, its just a simple wait around for the scene you probably get the gist of if you’ve watched the trailer….those two criss crossed blades that are inserted into the tunnel of the water slide. Great. Why have a slasher in your movie, for? Just insert some blades, and let it do the work for you. Pure genius work here, people, pretty lazy if you ask me. 

The entire film, which only clocks in at a whopping 1 hour and 10 minutes, less if you don’t stick around for the credits, just winds up being a very violent bloodbath, but that’s only the last fifteen minutes of the film. The gore is unrealistic, very comical….at some points, it just looked like watermelon slices just trying to pass for body parts, but still quite gruesome in several areas. 

But what’s to say when you have to bypass the boredom? It’s just constant fighting, arguing, cussing one another out, and that’s pretty much Aquaslash for you. If you want to waste your time with this sorry excuse for a slasher movie, have at it. I watched it so you don’t have to.
